Solveback ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website and calculator service at solveback.nl. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data we collect

Account data

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. This data is necessary to provide the Service.

Usage data

We store the inputs and outputs of calculations you run, as well as the PDF reports you generate, in order to provide report history and allow you to re-download reports.

Payment data

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data: stripe.com/privacy.

Analytics data

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Service. Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address (anonymised), browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This data is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy. You can opt out by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Note: Google Analytics is currently being implemented. This section will be updated once it is live.

Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. Google Analytics sets additional cookies for analytics purposes. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and maintain the Service
  • To send transactional emails (e.g. team invitations, account notices)
  • To process payments via Stripe
  • To analyse usage and improve the Service (via Google Analytics)

4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the Service you signed up for
  • Legitimate interest — analytics to improve the Service
  • Consent — where required by law (e.g. analytics cookies)

5. Data retention

Account data and reports are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

6. Third parties

We share data only with:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Google Analytics — anonymised usage analytics

We do not sell your personal data.

7. Your rights

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS, hashed passwords, encrypted connections) to protect your data.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice in the app.
