What is Solveback?
Solveback is a payback period calculator for energy efficiency investments. It helps you calculate how long it takes before an investment in LED lighting, solar panels, or a battery system pays for itself.
Who is Solveback for?
Solveback is built for installers, energy advisors, and businesses who want to quickly show clients the financial return of an energy investment — without needing a spreadsheet.
Are the calculations accurate?
The calculations are based on standard financial models and are a reliable starting point. They are indicative — actual results depend on energy prices, usage patterns, and local conditions. Always verify with a qualified advisor before making investment decisions.
Account & plans
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan lets you run all calculators and generate 1 PDF report. The report includes a small Solveback promotion.
What does Premium include?
Premium (€19/month) gives you unlimited PDF reports, clean reports without promotion, and full report history so you can re-download any previous report.
What does Business include?
Business (€49/month) includes everything in Premium plus a shared Team workspace. Invite colleagues, see reports generated by the whole team, and collaborate under one workspace.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which your plan reverts to Free.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Reports & PDF
What does the PDF report contain?
The PDF contains the full calculation result including investment amount, annual savings, payback period, and a summary for the client. It includes the client's name and company details that you fill in before generating.
Can I re-download an old report?
Yes, on Premium and Business plans. All reports are saved in your History. Click Download next to any report to regenerate it as a PDF.
What happens to my reports if I cancel?
Your report history remains stored. If your plan reverts to Free, you lose access to the History page, but your data is not deleted. Re-subscribing restores access immediately.
Team workspace
How do I invite teammates?
On a Business plan, go to Team in the sidebar and enter a colleague's email address. They will receive an invitation link valid for 7 days.
How many people can I invite?
There is no limit on team size on the Business plan.
